Retford Canine Society Premier Open Show

Our first show of 2025 with the Retford Canine Society. In Newark at the Newark & Notts Agricultural Showground, arriving a day early to allow Ginny plenty of time to settle from the travels, and enjoy exploring a couple of parks in the area.

It’s Show Time! 

Just three days before Ginny’s 3rd birthday. She has come a long way in the show world, gaining more confidence with each show we attend. Today, we arrived there in plenty of time to find a comfortable place to observe all the incredible dogs that showed before us.

Then came Ginny’s turn. She was brilliant! Nice movement around the ring a great improvement from some of her previous shows. She wouldn't stand for the judge being rather wriggly. Being judged by Jane Paradise in AV Imported Breed Register Open Class in the Working Group.

Overall Ginny and I had a fantastic day together and will be coming back to the Retford Canine Society Show next year for Round 2.
